Part 1: Write me a thesis:

“Why do you think you can make it in poker, Son Casinos are big for a reason they get that way cause people like you lose in them.” — Grandpa potter.

  1. I was top 1% in a video game called league of legends [100m monthly users] I achieved this by putting in more work than others and outplaying others in real-time.
  2. I was in the top .1% networth in a videogame called Runescape. I achieved this by Networking at a young age.
  3. I was one of the top players in every friend group I played poker in since age 12. I achieved this by understanding in poker it’s very hard to ever have a hand, aggression with nothing is the most important skill you can learn in poker. Everyone gets dealt AA the same amount of time and makes about the same amount of money. Everybody also gets dealt the third pair on some flops. Who loses or makes money on the third pair's hand separates the best from the rest.[Make your own luck]

Attached above was my thesis for trying to reach the top of poker. When you are lost or trying to figure out which way you should go on a decision you should write a thesis. What my grandpa had failed to realize was he had never met anyone who wanted to win at poker [Skill-based gambling]. He had only known individuals who wanted to win money doing nothing [luck-based gambling]. A drastic difference in mindset hindered him from seeing my reality. Very often on life-altering decisions, you will be looking one way when everyone else looks the other. What creates great stories is conviction.

Parralels/Power Of Why?:

Cross-Pollination: The process of exposing employees to new ways of thinking by sharing knowledge. It’s about combining the intellectual capital of individuals with different ways of thinking to reach innovative solutions. Elon musk said “cross-pollination” is the most important skill he has.

I’m getting into investing. In investing the people who make the greatest returns quite often must be ridiculed for months, years even before they realize they were correct. Poker is similar. If you look at my graph I was ridiculed for a year well suffering breakeven variance. I almost quit multiple times. It was my conviction I could figure out the game that led me to the point where I'm writing this article. You need unreal patience [18 months in poker] To make it. Sometimes in stocks, You need 5 years for a stock play to show its true value. If you don’t understand a thesis. Always ask “WHY?”

Conviction, Patience, Ability to take ridicule for years on end, A work ethic of 100+hours/week. All skills I learned in poker.

Roaring kitty/DeepFckingvalue. What few don’t realize. 1. Had massive conviction 2. Held the whole way up.[200k to 50m usd] 3. He was called an idiot by more than 30+ people on Reddit for a year and had held GameStop for 2 years.

What Is A Poker Thesis?

Attached is a poker thesis ask yourself if you had a financial advisor who you would rather buy equity in. That’s how theses for investing work you find 2 opposing opinions you sit on the sidelines or argue your point and then you decide where your parking your money.

For the meme.
